Opening Reception June 6, 2019, 7:30pm
June 6-31, 2019

As Oakland and the Bay Area gentrifies and artists and galleries are displaced, graffiti may be one of the most visible and accessible showcases for creativity. This collection of oversize, enlarged images show discarded spray paint cans—the tools of the graffiti artist—collected from abandoned buildings, train tunnels, and back alleys throughout the East Bay.
